Lite Sprites

Variations in order from left to right: Candle, Scented Candle, Light Bulb, Static Electricity, Firefly, Glowstick

The idea came when I was literally doodling for no reason. The candles came to me first when thinking of a favorite candle of mine (I like scented candles) Then then the next two were more "electricity" based then light but it worked out in the end, the last two were more for an other category

All can just barely fit in your hand & are bipedal (they walk like penguins) Most come in the same color though there are other variations. Almost all are man-made, only the Firefly and Glowstick variations are normal. They all make a sort of chittering sound. Around them people are unsure why but they can understand this chattering and actually communicate with them.

Okay now I shall explain each variation

Candle- Uncommon. Pretty normal, no eyes but see with their mind/spirit. Made of wax. If the wick wears all the way down to their body's core (down at the end of their tail) They are the simplest, shiest, and most misunderstood of the Lite Sprites from their appearance. If seen some usually try to stomp on them to exterminate them. Not just from appearance is this done to them, they are said to eat the souls of the pure but this is untrue. They are shy timid creatures who only want a safe place to live out their lives. Wick life depends on them. If they a larger variation then about 30 years and smaller about 25 BUT there are other variations, stress, anger, and feelings of hate all reduce their wick life by about one year of having these feelings for an hour. To attract one use candlelight.

Scented Candle- Uncommon. A lot like the Candle variation but their core goes to their chest, they are well liked, wick life is the same as Candle's (but they live about three years shorter), and yes, scented. There are six scents depending on color: Lavendar (purple), Ocean (ice blue), Lakefront (blue), Cherry blossom (pink), Jasmine (yellow), and pine (green) They are pale because of the fact they are made of wax like the candle. They are gentle and slow moving but love a sweet scent, honey generally attracts them.

Light Bulb- Common. Very commonly used as human pets, they are generally used to light up houses. Their tail is a socket with which you can place a light bulb in. They are lovable pets and well liked for their easy disposition. They have soft fur not unlike that of a bird's downy feathers. They have a lifespan of about 17 years and generally stop giving light at around 14 years old. Children often use them as snuggly nightlights. There is a longhair variation but those are hard to find. They are attracted to shiny things

Static- Rare. Those found are kept in hollow lanterns since they are an infinite light source. They make light by rubbing their ears against their special fur. The charge last for about an hour. They must keep charged or they will die. Their ears are usually socks or balloons (not both at the same time) and their fur is course and loaded with electricity. They can deliver a mild shock in self defense which is why they are not pets. They are easily irritable and quite lonely creatures. Not much else is known since they are quite hard to study. It is said they are attracted to lullaby songs.

Firefly- Common. One of only two naturally found Lite Sprites. They are the only ones with wings though they can only fly for about five seconds. They look a bit like bumblebees while flying. They are all mute and only communicate through flashes. They are extremely social though. More is needed to be found out on this species. They seem to be attracted to flashlights.

Glowstick- Rare. One of only two naturally found Lite Sprites. They have the ability to light up like a glowstick. Their fur will remain dark colored unless they feel they need to light up, their fur will start to brighten into a neon color, muchlike a glowstick when activated. They can choose what part of themselves they want to light up though they cannot hold such changes for more than half an hour. Their long tail has a special ability. It will not light up unless it is broken off by a predator, if it breaks off, the broken off part will start glowing and become toxic to ingest. The tail grows back after 3/4 of the year or nine months.They are unaffected by aging, have the behavior of a skittish horse, and love fruit or crackers. As long as you have a cracker or fruit they're happy. Only Lite Sprites with scales They're attracted to flowers, especially tropical ones like Hibiscus.

COLORS

Candle- A light peach tone, has a more whitish variation, no eyes, black wick

Scented Candle- Light blue, ice blue, purple, green, pink, yellow (can be multiscented so mix colors or add 1 other color for a pattern)

Light Bulb- Brown, gray, white, dark gray, light gray, black (almost always brown) eyes are always yellow

Static- Ears can be any color, fur is usually pale brown, can be light gray, white, blondish, light reddish-brown, eyes always yellow

Firefly- Dark gray, bulb can be yellow, blueish-green, or yellowish-green eyes are same color as bulb

Glowstick- black except when lit up can be any one neon color, eyes match the neon color

There is another variation never seen by humans

The star variation. No one has ever flimed/gotten a picture of one so it is unknown what they look like. They are either wild or upon manmade creation it disappeared before it's creator could even see what they made. Both theories are currently rumors.
